We order at 4:22pm. At 4:54 our food is ready. These are the photos of my Dad's chuckwagon sandwich. He shows it to them and they offer to remake it but no refund. No, we don't have another half hour to wait at a short order restaurant for another one. Just absolutely terrible. The new girl that took our order and totalled it got it wrong and we had to correct it. Same girl charged my aunt $18 for a hamburger steak dinner a few days before. Y'all need some real help and restructuring on your staff!

We hadn't been in awhile but first time we went back we got hamburger steak w/gravy, slaw, salad and fries, at that time we didn't know that you could mix the items up but it was delicious. They didn't offer mashed potatoes. Next visit it was catfish dinner and a shrimp dinner. Both were good.

Mom and I stopped for a bite to eat, as this place was recommended by a church member. The cheeseburger was ok, tomato made the bun soggy. My pineapple shake had lots of yummy pineapple, it could have been a little thicker though. Mom's fries were nice and hot, too salty for me.

Engle's Roadside Rest is an amazing little place. Their hamburgers are the best and their catfish dinner is amazing. "Come see for yourself".

It used to be good but it has gone way down hill. The place is old and ran down and the food is made with the cheapest ingredients possible. The hamburger meat is obviously cheap frozen Patties, fries are always raw and the dinner rolls tasted of butter flavored Crisco. Based on the recent review from the local “mystery diner”, my husband just decided he would give them another but they are closed on a Wednesday afternoon.
