Encanto Restaurant and Bar

A relaxingly colorful environment thats efficient in service and delectable in taste. Whether you're getting some simple tacos like me or a more complex dish, they have flavors that aren't to be walked past.

This restaurant is truly a gem for Mexican cuisine in Urbana. The food is outstanding, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. The location is conveniently situated in downtown, making it easily accessible. I've been a regular since it opened and have tried almost everything on the menu. They also offer a selection of Peruvian dishes, adding to the diverse culinary experience. I'm excited to continue exploring more of their offerings.

Loved the food and service here. Lengua and Birria tacos were great and I liked the encanto steak; shrimp and mushrooms were well cooked and delicious. Waiters were very nice and polite. Will be definitely back for more foods and recommendations.

I had such a delightful experience at this Mexican restaurant! The horchata and Jamaica drinks were incredibly refreshing, and the shrimp with garlic sauce was simply amazing. The fajita chimichanga was also a hit, and don't even get me started on the rice – so tasty! While the service was a tad slow, the waiters were all so friendly and accommodating. The prices are fair, and the portion sizes are just right. The salsa with chunks of tomato was a highlight, but the other salsa that resembled tomato soup without salt wasn't the best accompaniment for the tortillas at the start of the meal. Nonetheless, it was a great dining experience overall.

I'm glad that this space is back in business! The wait staff and owners were nothing but kind to us when we visited on their opening weekend. The setting was inviting, open, and beautiful. The food itself was okay, and I believe that there are more authentic restaurants in town, but this place has potential. I hope that they are successful! Their menu is very large, so there is a lot you can choose from. The prices are very fair.
