El Sombrero

My husband and I ate here for the first time and the food, service, and atmosphere was wonderful! Our server did an outstanding job. Thank you for a great evening. We will definitely be back again.

The atmosphere was similar to many other Mexican restaurants, but the food and service were above the others. It was clean and spacious, the music was playing, and I had no complaints about the atmosphere. I'm only saying that didn't make it stand out. The food, however, did stand out. Very good for the region this establishment is in.

Fantastic, delicious, authentic entrees and the best salsa I've ever had at any Mexican restaurant! Highly recommended. You'll love El Sombrero!

I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants and this one is by far the worst. Food: the saddest $18 fajitas I have ever seen. Service: I waited at least 10 minutes to pick up my carry out order. No one at the hostest booth. Atmosphere: half of the lights are off in the place, The hallway to the bathroom was dark. And the lights that were on are bright like doctors lights. Even the painting/decorations are depressing. And they have these lawn-jockey all over the exterior that give strange strange vibes. I could eat Mexican food every day, for every meal. But if I had to eat from this place every day, it would feel like purgatory. Avoid this place.

When I lived closer, I ate there at least twice a week. If you want Fresh & Delicious food that is served by attentive, friendly folks, This IS The Place!!! Tacos Al Carbone are Amazing!!! The other menu items are wonderful, as well. The owner, Ruben, has, for many years, provided Thanksgiving meals, at no charge, for the area. He is a truly great human!!! Also, they have cold beer and tasty margaritas. You can't go wrong here!!!
