El Paisa Taqueria

Stopped by on the way outta town for a quick lunch. Not disappointed! The barbacoa tacos were ???????? and the charro beans were loaded! (Even had the sliced hot dog which I haven't had in a long while) I'm usually picky about the Spanish rice at restaurants, but they nailed it here. The soda just comes in a can, instead of over ice, which was the only draw back. Over all, very good tho. Will definitely be back when we come to town again.

Awesome tacos! Most authentic mexican tacos I have had here in Tx. Got the plate of four taquitos- birria, cabeza, al pastor, chicarron prensado. Tacos are filled with protein chosen. Comes with pickled red oinions, grilled onions. Two types of salsa- green (spicy) and red. Both are excellent. Definitely recommend this establishment.

Happened by this place when I was on a trip, went in to get a quick taco to go. I got one asada taco, but I would have gotten two if I would have known how good it was! They also had horchata which is a delicious drink but hard to find. A nice bonus was that the women's restroom was very clean!

Trying for the first time and it was okay. I wanted birria tacos but it was more like eating shredded brisket in a tortilla is not birria like the one in the red caldo an the tripas we asked for them to be crunchy an they were super soft. The torts looked good in a picture posted here but that was a no for us carne asada had no flavor. The tacos were okay but the torta was just a no.
