El Mariachi Loco

The chicken was dry the mushrooms and onions burned the beans and rice was cold. Tried to speak with the manager which was not available. I wanted to enjoy lunch with my mom it was horrible. I paid for a lunch we could not enjoy worst meal I've ever had. I even tip the waiter he was new it wasn't his fault. No one tried to correct the problem. No apology. Horrible food horrible management team. Won't be going back

Been a while since I've been here and they didn't disappoint! I like the redesigned bar area and the young lady serving me was really helpful and friendly. Got the pork and pineapple street tacos and they were killer! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a good meal.

Food was mediocre at best. The Guacamole was discolored like it was scooped from a container & not mixed & mushy. Portions were super small. Nothing tasted authentic or homemade in house. Everything seemed pre-packaged & heated. Service wasn't good at all. We tried the place because a waiter we typically have at another restaurant started here & we'll stick with our typical restaurant Los Chicos Tequila Bar & Grill. Where the food is always freshly prepared & the Guacamole is made to order not a spoon scoop.lol The atmosphere, service and food are a million times better at Los Chicos Tequila Bar and Grill.

I have been a loyal customer at this eatery since it 1st opened it's doors, and both the food and service have always been good here. The recent remodel of the restaurant is great as is the addition of several new dishes to the menu along with some $3.99 lunch specials for those on a budget, I mean you can't eat fast-food anywhere and get a complete meal for $3.99, much less sit down somewhere as nice as this and actually be waited on. If your in Petal and want to enjoy a good meal in a nice environment, then El Mariachi Loco is the place for you...

We stayed in local airbnb and chose this for a quick takeout. The food was fair and service quick, but I ordered dinner portions for LUNCH and definitely didn't meet the size of a dinner portion. We had items questions, sals, chips #22, and #33 plus Flan. The flan was not good. It's topping way too sweet fur this dish( not my preference but for the recipe itself) and nearly charred. The question was delicious and had great flavor. We also enjoyed TY e salsa. Would go back and try again. However, the portions are questionable.
