El Charro Mexican Grill

Amazing food, strong tasty margaritas, and always the best service. Our bartender, John, took the best care of us. We had the authentic steak tacos and they were delicious as always. Even got some new bar glasses for our outdoor bar! ????

If you’re looking for the best Mexican food and margaritas in Cartersville, this is the spot. El Charro has been a go-to for us for several years now. We’ve eaten here for lunch, dinner and even a late night stop for margs and queso (be sure to get it with the jalapeño purée). Their staff is always friendly and attentive, service is fast. Their fajitas are a favorite of mine and you can’t go wrong with a dingle margarita or their fun and festive margarita flights. We also love that they offer indoor and outdoor seating.

I'm pretty picky about mexcain food, but everything I tried was seasoned and so good!! I had the El Pastor tacos and side of rice, we were a party of 5 and we got sat very quickly. Our waiter, Jose, was very sweet and on it, he refilled our drinks as needed and made sure everything was good. My sister got the Pollo con crema, it was so good and my nephew got the kids fajias and the proportion was awesome! We were all full, everyone had leftovers. The setup is good, I love the patio, it's peaceful and so pretty.

We’ve been coming to El Charro for years and have always loved the food and environment! A few days ago we hosted a graduation party at their event space and Santiago was so helpful the day of with our catering and any last minutes needs we had. You get their space all day making set up and take down so easy!

Outstanding experience at El Charro! The food was delicious and authentic, but what really made our visit memorable was our waiter, Gaspar. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find service that genuine and thoughtful. If you’re visiting El Charro, ask for Gaspar—you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be back!
