El Canelo Mexican Restaurant

We came here for lunch and was very impressed. Food was very good and service nice and quick!

Don’t use the app to order! I don’t usually leave bad reviews and I usually love this place. Last time we decided to order to go, we ordered on the app. When I arrived it took over 20 minutes for someone to initially check on me, and turns out the order didn't print in the kitchen (it went through and was paid for, just didn’t print). He told me it’ll just be a few minutes and they’ll get it out to me. That turned out to be an entire hour wait. No apologies, nothing to make it right. I totally understand that technical difficulties happen but to sit there and wait almost 1.5 hours for my order was pretty ridiculous. This time we decided to call instead and I waited at the register for 15 minutes with my to go order before anyone checked me out, and there was only a few tables, not busy at all. Just a little frustrating!

I walked in this restaurant late last night. I was promptly seated. The chips and salsa were good , I liked the Salsa it didn't taste like it was mostly ketchup. I ordered the beef fajitas it came out quick and it was a generous portion. I did ask for no tomatoes so that's why there's not a lot of color. I Would definitely eat here again.

The staff was pleasant and the food was very good. The decor of the restaurant is very nice and everything was very clean.

Food is always good. They serve big helpings! Chips and salsa are good, and we enjoy the queso(white) dip.
