Great food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. A special touch is how dog-friendly the place is — our dog was made very welcome and even offered treats. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic pub, great atmosphere & the staff and regulars are lovely. Even better they have Bingo every Monday night with a good jackpot pot! Family friendly, pet friendly and parking friendly!

Had a really lovely meal here on sat afternoon. Prawn cocktail starter from the specials menu was delicious. I had lamb shank for mains also from the special menu which was superb and don't get me started on the sticky toffee pudding it was gorgeous. So happy our local is now serving food again. Proper pub grub done right. Well done Duke of York.????????????????????
