Di Maggio's Pizza

My wife and I both had the Pete salad. It's very good, my wife always gets it. I usually get lasagna that's very tasty as well. The service is great, waitresses are very friendly and cheerful, prompt and attentive. The food is always fresh and good. The place is starting to show its age, however. They tried to do a little bit of drywalling a while back and they just never really finished it. Kind of looks a little beat up, but it's a good place to eat. I recommend this place. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the place is not kept up as it should be or could be. UP DATE: THEY HAVE COMPLETELY RENOVATED THE DINING ROOM. IT LOOKS GREAT. Wife had her Pete salad, I opted for spaghetti and meat balls. Everything was great. With drinks cost was just a little over $20.

Worst deep dish pizza ever, doesn’t taste like a deep dish pizza at all. The sausages are tiny bits of pieces. Need some work with the crust, the sauce and the bread is over power the deep dish pizza. I’d had deep dish pizzas all over chicago like pequoads, magiannos, pizza uno, Lou Malnati’s. Also the worst bread sticks I’ve ever had. They need to take more notes.

Great food, service was decent but our drinks went dry a few times.

We visited Karmi for the weekend and it was the best restaurant in town. Was disappointed that a tiny Cesar salad was $6. But overall the pasta was good, the bread was great and the atmosphere was nice. Good service, too.

Their pizza is fabulous, they wait times are okay, but they're not very flexible. They have a very good staff though. And their pasta is good too.
