Darrell ( Big D ) at Darrell's Auto and Truck Repair did some upgrades for me on my 1985 Ford Mustang GT and I tell you these guys are Great. Darrell installed my 3.73 gear, Auburn Diff., with install kit with absolutely trouble free operation.Not only that installed my Pertronix Ignitor 3 ignition for me, with new Eldebrock AVS2 Carburetor set timing for peak performance. Get this Big D knows I'm on a fixed income so whenever I paid cash, He'd put a few dollars back in my pocket, now That's a FRIEND! As a single female, I absolutely dread going to an automotive repair shop. Too often I feel like I’m being taken advantage of or that I’m being overcharged. I can honestly say that I had the BEST experience at Darrell’s and they now have a life-long customer. They were able to fit me into their schedule immediately and had my work done in a timely matter. The gentlemen who work there were so kind to me and had no problem explaining the work they did. Also, and I am sure they don’t do this often, but Matt stopped by my house to quickly fix a small issue before they even opened. Not many people would do that - but he did. Car issues can be stressful, but the men at Darrell’s made it easy. I am a forever customer!

This is the best auto place I've ever been to. Went to Gerald's in Summerville and they told me I needed to fix a bent control arm and it would be close to $500. I took it to Darrell's and got a second opinion and they told me that it would totally fine. They did that for free. Highly recommend them to anybody with auto concern. Very helpful and very knowledgeable staff. I can't say enough good things about this place. They do everything from oil changes and tire rotations to major work. Just give him a call and ask him for a quote they will gladly help you for free. My boss takes all his Vehicles here and they've never done him wrong, five star review. Best auto repair place in Summerville area. I live in Charleston area and drive the 45 minutes to them bc there so good. Matt is the front desk manager he is very professional and very nice. Ask for him and you get a straight answer to your question. There out yo make a good reputation even if they don't make the money off a sale. They care about there customers. Also there are very timely with fixing your car. Best place I have ever taken my car too hands down!

They troubleshot the problem and gave me an estimate to fix the issue. They performed the repair in a timely fashion and did not break the bank. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Their customer service is top notch. They were phenomenal today! They made the entire process more than bearable, and extended their kindness to my son (who was quickly becoming hot and grumpy). They dealt with the service plan/warranty company and ended up saving me deductible money! I had never heard of them before my car broke down in the NAPA parking lot this morning, and am incredibly grateful for the NAPA employee who recommended I go speak with Darryl. Darryl personally drove me to Enterprise to get a rental car. Customer service is clearly very important to him. I highly recommend their auto repair services! After receiving such fantastic service today, I am saddened to see that someone wrote such a negative review regarding hear say experience.
