The best chorizo in the entire bay area and one of the best I've had in my life. The seasoned meat as well is the best. Have been coming here for almost 20 years and absolutely love the service, quality and the fact that they are a small business. Be ready to wait tho usually a line out the door especially now with covid-19.

I stop here on the way home from my weekly doctor appointments. I live in Pittsburg but If given the chance I prefer to purchase my meat and especially their chorizo from this market. It is difficult to find a meat market out where I live with the cuts of meat needed for Mexican recipes and above all the high quality of D’Gonzales Meat Market. Service is always great. I’ve been a customer for many years since I lived in Oakland and will continue to buy my meats there as long as I can. I always recommend them especially for their chorizo which is fantastic in chorizo con huevo and so many other dishes,even grilled!

Very kind and patient staff as I practice my poor spanish when I go there. Always something nice to say. Delicious meat and very convenient for bying a last minute latinos products.

My family and I have bought their chorizo and meats for years and we’ve gone to other places to see if it’ll compete to theirs but they are hands down THE best and the employees are extremely friendly.
