Country Restaurant & Lounge

Sherry was very friendly and fairly attentive considering she was the only server and it got busy. The food was just ok. The Hefty Burger, burrito, & chicken strips were good. The French Dip was dry and bland & they forgot the grilled onions. The loaded potato soup was decent and the chili was extremely spicy. Lots of flies inside too. We're just passing through but probably wouldn't come back unless trying breakfast.

Came here with my brother today and place was kind of busy, we have been going there for quite some time. Usually the place is okay the food quality has dipped below par tho..and the waitress and cooks don't seem to care about the patrons who are tying to eat there. Today was no different we both ordered the same thing a omelets with hash browns on the side we waited 1 hour for food and yet nothing came. Jennifer didn't seem to care about us waiting so long as she wasted lots of time talking to other tables and they seemed to prioritize the bar more than the people in the front of the restaurant. A couple came in 20 minutes after we did and still got there food first so we ended up leaving and won't be back. Terrible service and terrible cooks. The only good thing was we weren't charged for the drinks.

Country Restaurant and Lounge offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly service and a menu that caters to a variety of tastes. During my visit, I tried the French toast, which was decent but not particularly outstanding. I ordered the three-slice portion, and the servings were quite large—honestly, two slices would have been plenty. While it wasn’t the best French toast I’ve ever had, it was still enjoyable. My boys opted for hamburgers, which they liked a lot. However, the fries didn’t impress them, as they left them untouched. While I didn’t try them myself, their reaction suggested that the fries may have been lacking in flavor or texture. The restaurant itself had a nice ambiance—clean, comfortable, and inviting. The standout aspect of the visit was the service. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, the experience was slightly above average. The food was decent, though not particularly memorable, but the generous portions and friendly service added to the positive impression. If I return, I might opt for a smaller portion or try something different from the menu.

My first time at Country Restaurant. Honestly, you couldn't ask for anything better, than a big yummy breakfast here. The friendliest staff greeted me as soon as I walked in, water, utensils, and waitress at the table in seconds, and my french toast combo was perfect. Prices are very reasonable, and it's a very down home atmosphere.

Hidden gem. Pricing was good and breakfast items were great. Would highly recommend chicken fried steak.
