Collinsville Walking Trail

Great walk during any time of the year. This trail is part of the Farmington River Trail not be confused with the Farmington Canal trail which you do connect to but the river trail has tremendous views. Great walk in the summer with lots of activities to enjoy along your walk

Great views of the Farmington River. Lots of various birds frequent the river and, if you look carefully, you can sometimes spot the Bald Eagle that lives along the river. Nice paved trail along the Farmington River leading into downtown Collinsville. Benches and tables are scattered about the trail if you just want to sit and take in the view. Trail parking area is near the town garage. (Access is Old River Road - off River Road by Riverside Nursery)
