Chen's Happy Garden

Having eaten here before, went back today. We were immediately told before being seated how much we were required to tip. (18%) and they would not seat us at one of the bigger tables in the back so that the 5 of us could sit together. She was extremely rude. Considering only 2 tables were occupied I would think they would have wanted the service. Too bad because the food is pretty good. Reminds me of the old Louie's restaurant. We will not be back.

At the end of our meal she decided to add her own tip. She added 15% to our bill. We asked to substitute something and they refused. Then we ordered pan fried noodles and were burnt. It was me, my partner and our 2 sons. I will never go in there again.

Very clean restaurant and delicious food. On the more expensive side however you get very large portions, so you really get what you pay for. With they had the egg fu Yung by itself though! But great Chinese food. Service could be a lot better. Rude staff.

Awesome classic Chinese food. Definitely underrated. We have been here several times and if your looking for Chinese food with no weird twist this is the place. Affordable and really generous portion sizes. The food is always hot and fresh. Dining room and restaurant is clean and gives you that classic Chinese restaurant feel.

I called in an order of soup. The lady half yelled at me that the soup is already ready & that it's "always ready!" Then hung up on me. I went in and tho the wait wasn't long my order was Not ready... She was stone faced cold as usual. This woman has always had a terrible attitude. Like seriously, what is going on in your life that has you treat your customers like garbage?.. I cannot believe she hasn't been fired.. Once they do that, I'll be back more often.
