Charles E. Sexton Memorial Park

We chose to eat dinner at a restaurant down the street before the festival, so we didn’t have to wait in lines etc. and traffic on the way out was slow, but that’s to be expected, otherwise we had a beautiful time with family!

Love this place. We enjoy the waterfront art festival which features fine arts live music food trucks and the lovely pond and park. The park has clean restrooms and plenty of hiking

Great place for a walk, as well as a great place for beginners to play Frisbee golf. The trails are very flat, and perfect for both kids, the elderly, and joggers alike. Off to the side is a trail that leads into a bird sanctuary. This trail is very scenic, and great for exploring nature. The park is typically clean with very little liter with the exception of the parking lot (likely due to its proximity to the highway). This park is great for picnics as well, and many family gatherings go on in the pavilion areas.

I have been walking here for therapy after heart surgery. The grounds are flat with a few gentle hills. Wildlife abounds. Squirrel ????? , ???? ducks, painted turtles????, a pair of blue heron, and a flock of geese so watch your step. The lakes are beautiful . There is a flying disc golf course and bicycle ???? friendly paths.

North Ponds is a beautiful little park. It has a circular 1 mi walking paved trail which takes you around three main ponds. All of which are great for fishing. It also has a frisbee golf course, barbecue setups and other family friendly activities.
