C & C Crab Shack

Low seafood boil was awesome. A ton of food. Easily feeds 2. Friendly staff. We were passing through town and so happy we found this place.

Wow what a wonderful hidden seafood restaurant in Adel. We had the crab shrimp and catfish. Cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the crab rice. Only thing is if you get the crab legs. Opening is hard due to plastic utensils. Overall really good and will be back soon.

I only write reviews when the food is absolutely horrible, this food was horrible. The crab rice was cold, hard, and undercooked. There are only a couple of imitation crab strings (not pieces, just string), and barely any sauce, just dry, hard rice for $6. The crab and shrimp were also horrible. The shrimp was small and overcooked, it was hard to pull the shells off bc they were overcooked. The shrimp are medium size shrimp, not the kind that is used in crab boils. The crab was overcooked and small. The crab shell is still intact bc the super small crab slipped through the tiny opening. Corn was cold, potatoes were bland. It's not worth the money and the food was inedible. Price is not an issue when the food is good. The only thing that was good was the seasoning used on top of the food but there was barely any seasonings and the majority of the tastes like it was boiled in water.

Everything was great! But that crab rice omg make you wanna slap somebody. ???? The ladies that work here are really nice as well so always a plus. They also have the buttery garlic shrimp they look good too next time imma try that. Wait a min I forgot about them hush puppies they are corn hush puppies and wow I've never had them but that's the way I wanna eat them from now on. Lol just stop by if you in the area you won't be disappointed.

This place was amazing. We drove up ordered and paid. And then came back and picked up the food. The food was amazing. They make their own dips and the are so amazing the food was perfect even though we picked this up in adel and drove to Nashville. When we got home our food was still hot and crispy. It was the best food I have had in a really long time.
