Burger Box

Went a little bit out of my way to come here and glad I did. Got a double cheeseburger. Tastes like some of the best burgers I've ever had. Old school, delicious, did not disappoint. Fries are, like, this kind of wedge chip fry thing, super delicious. One of the more memorable meals Ive had in a while. Really, really good.

This place is an institution. For anyone saying that the wait is long and all that, haven’t been here before and don’t know why the wait is so long. People have been fiending for this. So real people will wait 2+ hours for this food. This is the amazing food we all grew up on, If you know, you know. That’s why this place gets 5/5 because it’s amazing. Great food, amazing staff. It’s perfect.

Went to order and was told over a hour wait time for a hamburger..Some of the finest restaurants around you DONT have to wait an hour for your food. They were not prepared when they reopened.. I will go to In n Out for a great burger in about 10 minutes.

Stopped at this little place on the way back from Indio. Given the reviews, I was very interested to try this restaurant. After having tried it, I do not believe I will be going back. The servers are very nice and kind. However, you always need to have an ear out because they will call your name from the window to pick up your order, so you always have to listen. As for the food… let’s begin with the burgers: The cheese burger was… okay at best. It felt like frozen re-grilled meat. Not much taste; the main taste is from the mustard sauce and the onions. Otherwise, the meat itself is derived of any taste. As for the fries: These are not really french fries. These are fried potatoes, and not great fried potatoes at that. These were so sticky (as in all of them were stuck to each other like a moist stack of paper) and soggy. They were full of oil and did not taste good at all. It doesn’t really come in a box either, so I’m not sure why it’s called “Box of Fries”. I was expecting them to come in a box. Overall, I don’t believe I will be going back. I’m only giving the 3 stars because of the nice people working there. Otherwise, it would be a 2. Maybe the nostalgia factor would have played into it if I had grown up here like others, however, with so many better options across the desert that are comparable in price, I will be choosing another place next time.
