The wings from the appetizer list are a must. You will not be disappointed. Good prices for the food you get. This place was crazy busy. Our server was helpful. The drinks tasted great, especially the mojito. The bridzilla sandwich is wicked spicy ????. I got the walleye sandwich, and it was nicely flavored.

Excellent first visit! Our waitress let us know that they were just a little understaffed for the night, so the wait time might be a little more than usual. It was not long at all, and the waitress was personable and fun. Food met "competition standard" expectations. Was such a beautiful night to watch the sun set over the water while enjoying great food and service! My only regret was waiting so long into the season to drive out and give it a try!

Three stars is probably not reflective of Breakwall BBQ at their best but while I’ve past the place several times in the past and seen it very busy, I ca. only review based on my first experience eating there today. Perfect setting for a meal and drinks waterside with some friends but I had a late lunch with my wife and father-in-law. Service was extremely friendly and food came out at a reasonable pace. I had 1/2 order of ribs with onion rings, fries, macaroni salad and a piece of cornbread. My wife had the pulled chicken and macaroni salad, and my FiL had pulled pork, fries, and Cole slaw. The ribs had a nice smoked aroma to them and good flavor so I can’t complain about them. The onion rings were decent but slightly greasy, the fries limp and left behind after confirming my suspicion by eating just one. I was happy to see corn in the corn bread but it didn’t really have that much flavor. My wife said her pulled chicken was disappointing and the macaroni salad was just so-so. The FiL ate most everything but then he’s 90 and doesn’t get out much ???? I really wanted it to be better but it feel short for me. Maybe because the time of the year and the time of the day. I probably won’t go back because I love the bbq at. Risqué yes I’m Ashtabula but bbq is a personal preference so choose accordingly!

It was in a small town and next to the lake Erie. Apart from the lake view, the biggest impression was the price. A three-meat platter only costs $20. Service was warm. My table server was very kind, and the owner even came to tables greeting every group of customers. For the food, I ordered a three-meat plate that came with a chicken leg, three bones of St.louis cuts of ribs, and some brisket. The brisket cuts (flat meat) were tender, yet slightly on the dry side. Some of them were mostly falling apart like chopped brisket. The chicken leg was crispy/dry outside and tender inside. They would be nicer if they could retain some moisture. If you don't mind adding sauce on the meat, they should be nice to eat then. The ribs on the other hand were tender but a bit undercooked. They were very small ribs, yet the fats were not perfectly rendered, and some cartilages were still tough to bite down. It would be nicer to cook for a longer time, in my opinion. With that being said, it's a good place to stop by and support the business.

This place is Amazing!! If you get a chance to eat here take it! They have huge smokers and lots of outdoor seating. The food is wonderful! I had the Pork and Brisket and my family had the Ribs and Chicken. I was so impressed! And that's saying something since I'm from Texas! Definitely will be eating here next time I come to Lake Erie!!!
