Bongo African Grocery

I would not recommend this market. I purchase two packets of crackers not knowing that the items was set to expire within days. Once I got home and tasted the cracker I felt something was not right. I turned over the packets and I saw the expiration dates were within five days. So, I went back to the market. When I got there I was greeted by a rude cashier who insisted that I was not telling her the truth. She asked why one of packets were opened and I told her I tried one of the crackers and I instantly knew they were bad. She was showed my proof of purchase and she rudely demanded that pick something different from the store. So, I scanned the store looking for items that were not expired. I quickly selected the two items that I could find that had future expirtation dates. Then the cashier demanded I come back to the front of the line to check out. She scanned the new items all while making facing and saying negative things under ber breath. So, Buyer BEWARE!!! If you decide to purchase items from this market PLEASE CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE!!!! I will never shop here AGAIN!

It's got the usual African needs you probably need but not really over the top. I was uncomfortable, was greeted with an unpleasant odor. Got a variety of fish and meat even chicken. Cool people

Good variety of imported african produce. Clean and well organized shelves of neatly packaged items. Pre cut beef, chicken , lamb and goat in nice neat packs. Plenty of frozen tilapia and red snapper. Also a good variety of smoked fish and the usual african grocery store items. This store is not very large but it has most popular items, and it is CLEAN.
