Neat place, food was basic and a but lacking. Overall work the visit if you are down on the lake and want to grab a bite. The restaurant itself if pretty neat, an old dock floating on the lake. Staff was very busy but accommodating. We had a large party so it took a while to get food and drinks. Drinks ran dry for quite a while and we had to flag down a server to get more. Food is pretty much cookie cutter. Appetizers were fine but likely out of a bag into a deep fryer. Fried cat fish was okay but muddy. I wouldn't order it again. Nothing to brag about. I wouldn't consider it a destination but again, if you're in the area it would be fine for a quick bite.
I ordered prime rib. I am not a big steak fan. But this is one of the best ones I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection. WooHoo Black Pearl! Not to mention the great salad and huge stuffed baked potato. We did not leave hungry.
This is a great little hidden gem right on the water. Definitely ???? here and ask for Lisa, she's the best Enjoy!!!
This is quickly becoming my favorite Sunday breakfast spot. The coffee is always hot. The staff is always friendly. The food is always home cooked goodness. Do not expect fancy. This is a place where you can come as you are, share a fishing story, and enjoy good food. Mind your manners and you'll have a great experience. If you are out on Fort Gibson lake you can dock in the marina and enjoy the restaurant and the bar. The bar allows smoking, but there is covered outdoor seating as well.
I was visiting from out of town, and the idea of lakeside eating sounded great. We entered the restaurant and it smelled like smoke. It seems to share the ventilation with the bar nextdoor, so I'm guessing that's why it smells that way. We decided to eat on the patio out back. The tables outside were all covered with bugs and ash from cigarettes. Fortunately our server was great and wiped the table down for us. The patio area could be really cute with a beautiful lake view. Instead there are dead bugs and spider webs everywhere out there. The food was okay. The menu is fairly basic, but my shrimp were cooked well. The potato came with assorted fixings in small containers, but it wasn't steaming hot when it got to me, and there wasn't any real butter. There was some kind of creamy, milky stuff in a container that was split that may have been sour cream. Fortunately there was some in a packet. The service was a redeeming quality for this place. It has a lot of potential, but it wasn't very busy on that Saturday night, and I can understand why.
