Black Olive Family Diner

Went with my dad on a Saturday night. The entire staff was super sweet, friendly and accommodating. I was very pleased with my Riviera Maya salad. Many times a diner salad is just a plate of iceberg with a few sad veggies on top but their salads are on actual fresh greens. Meat was cooked well. Portions are enormous--my dad thought too big but it's a Greek Diner so you're gonna get a lot of food. I boxed half my salad and took it home for lunch the next day.

Huge portions of quality food at very reasonable prices. I recommend the Stuffed Flounder. One serving us plenty for two meals at a one meal price.

Nice menu with standard diner fare and breakfast all day. My food was good, not great. My buddies open face turkey sandwich had a bright yellow gravy which he said wasn't very good. Saving grace... Service was fantastic! Older waitress who was so sweet and completely on top of everything.

I remember this location when it was a bar. So glad to see what they have done with the place. They have great food, great prices and the waitress's are very good at taking care of you. Also you will NOT leave here thinking that you did not get enough food for your money. I am a big fan of food and had the half chicken. It came with two sides and even dessert. My wife had to ask for a box so she could take the rest of her food home. Heck, she had another complete meal the next day. And one thing I do judge a food establishment on is how clean their restrooms are. If they don't have clean restrooms do you think they care much about your food? This restaurant has really clean restrooms, I can't say that enough. They don't stink or smell like those fast food restaurants restrooms. I really, really enjoyed this restaurant and hope they continue to do well. If you are looking for a good restaurant to eat at on a trip they are no more than a few minutes drive off of route 30 on the east end of Columbia. Pay them a visit you will not be disappointed.
