Augie's Bar & Grill LLC

Our first time here and we were greeted warmly and felt so welcomed. The atmosphere is so inviting. The pizza was good. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Augies has been a wonderful place to go for the past couple years. On April 2nd 2022 Augie (Lee) and his wife (Lois) retired after 46 years and as of May 2024 they still work on and off until they sell the business. Listed price is currently $575,000. Hours change quite a bit so it is best to watch the Augie's facebook page. Food was always great, thanks for all the memories, Augie! Wonder if the drawer I helped fix is working fine yet!

Very pleasant service. The guy who waited on us was very professional and did his job super well. Been along time since we have had such excellent service like that. And the food was absolutely fantastic. This was our first time here and we will so be returning. And we were so happy they were open during the Super Bowl when everyone else was closed showed they actually care about the customers. We will totally be return customers. So glad we found this place.

It depends all on who is working and cooking, owners are friendly NOT THEIR staff. Can tell difference on the cooking too at times it's phenomenal and then you'll order the same thing 2 days later and it is gross... and I love their Philly steak sandwiches what you got to be careful on who is doing the cooking that day I found the best day to order food is on Friday's

The fish is NOT the best in a 50 mile radius. In fact, it was some of the worst I've had in the country and as a local guide my reviews are all the proof you need to know that I know what I'm talking about. Greasy using old oil. Presentation was far from appetizing and I almost sent it back to the kitchen. I'm a big supporter of mom-n-pop restaurants and bars, but this one definitely will NOT top my list of favorites. They tried to charge me for a drink that I didn't order. Confusion on a slow night. It's no wonder this establishment wasn't busy on a Friday night next to a race track when racers and fans become thirsty and hungry after an event. First impressions make lasting impressions. Please do not serve food cooked in old oil. This simple expense as a restaurant proprietor will either make or break your business because first time customers never forget a bad experience. On the positive side of this review: Appetizers were appeasing and not greasy. Billiards tables in good condition Friendly staff *Edit* I've traveled through 46 states of this grand land and this place is at the bottom of my list. Decided to give it second chance again on slow Friday evening. Server only had three tables. Our drinks were dry so I had to walk up to the bar to quench to my thirst. We waited one hour and fifteen minutes for our food. Absolute worst and guarantee never again.
