Food was delicious! Ambiance is welcoming and relaxing. Service was outstanding! We had the opportunity to chat briefly with the owners and they shared the history of the drink we ordered ????
Cute cafe with delightful lattes and delicious flatbreads. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere inviting for a relaxing cup of tea or a latte, and is a creative space for writing, drawing or reading your favorite book. Child friendly and a great space to catch up with friends or family.
Some of the best Flat Bread with hummus & Avocado!! Also, their Turkish coffee is strong & delicious. 5 Stars
Ordered two lattes, the general manager voided the dairy free one dollar upcharge as I asked her to so I could get enough change from my twenty for personal reasons and I left her a dollar tip cause I miscounted. However the barista who made my latte that Sunday although delicious I asked her to make me a turmeric latte, it was modestly not good. I asked to remake it showing that I only sipped from it. She later after twenty minutes of me sitting back down came up to me to let me know I had to order again paying full price for another latte. So I although she made my golden turmeric latte poorly, her poor display of customer service and assuming me having ill intentions. Not to mention after her general manager walked out her poor attitude toward this establishment which she represents gave me another sour taste in my mouth which made me feel the need to write this review and not return here again.
Worth the price!!! Wow ok so i stumbled upon this place near my hood and was NOT dissapointed. Very eastern european based coffees, foods and wonderful owners. They offer vegan and vegetarian options but still use meat as well. Safe for everyone. Make sure if you have sensitivities to let them know with their baking and stuff because alottt has gluten and or nuts and sometimes dairy. The portions are expensive BUT they are literally meant for 2-4 people (hummus, tabouli, salad.) So don't be fooled. I ordered tabouleh and it was literally around 5 pounds on my food scale. I make my own and the ingredients and prep times cost are the same. Also food AREA made FRESH. So when ordering food allow them 30-40 min because they literally do it from scratch. Including cookies which at 20-25 min. Like out the oven melt in your mouth stuff. Literally burned myself not expecting the cookie to be warm right out the oven at 430 pm lol. Also the art exhibit is awsome. Plenty to read and do. Due to corona its not easy to hang around but they have a small dining out door area to enjoy and the site is private (despite the train and fire station next door). Def worth it. I order WEEKLY . ALSO NOTE the frappes are NOT AMERICAN frappes . They are european so more watered down versus American thick ice cream like. Same for the lemonade blended with lemon(in europe its supposed to have more tart than sweet) . Very authentic but whats nice is if you want some tweaks you MUST TELL THEM. But for drinks do give them 15 min because they brew to each customer. I no longer go to starbucks hahaha. Thanks a lot for expanding my pallette. My mom goes for tabouleh every week now. BIg fans sadly they changed their hours almost every damn week. I've been trying to get in here for a minute again but I am only allowed to go once a year because my caretaker doesn't get off of work to take me
